So apart from his recent additions to the posts such as, "Dogs Rule and Cats Drool" - inspired by the movie Homward Bound, and recently Homward Bound II: Lost in San Fransico - Ben has been writing a novel. That is WRITE! He purchased a sweet type writer at the largest flea market in the world. This flea market is located deep in the heart of Amish country near Middlebury, Indiana; or Elkhart (Ben shouts out to his peeps from Elkhart in his novel).
See Ben has a real eye for the steals, or should I say deals. He fluently speaks Spanish, Espanol, and English (pretty incredible if you ask me). He has a knack for bartering...for instance, the typwriter was $15. He quickly offered the man $10 dollars and the seller said, "SOLD!"
So this story, and others, will also be in His novel; but, will most likely be in Spanish, so I am taking the liberty of translating it for you :) ...so about His novel. "Well is it really a novel?", Stephen asked as Ben as he was typing away furiously. All the sudden Ben stopped, turned his head, and ....
Well I guess you will have to read it and find out for yourself.

He's ahead of you, and has your best interest in mind. We Love the Postcards, and you are so good with the super Gifts! Thank you! We gave Annalisa some Barbie clothes from you and Josiah for her birthday. Josiah is going to visit NYC w/ friends, so pray for a good trip for him and his friends. Our neighborhood was paved. We are registering families for Master's Academy. Ciphi is raising support for Costa Rica. Lysandra is graduating. Both girls will have their recitals AND Annalisa, on June 14th. Isaac camped and partied all weekend. Dad bought a canopy and put it up on the porch. I am trying to write and paint, and write some books. Love, Ana Maria

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I saw Ben looking so scholarly at his typewriter- it reminds me of the good 'ole VCA days ^_^ I recall that one of Ben's most recent gift requests before he left on this adventure was a typewriter, but he found the best one of all- with a flippin' cool story to tell about how he got it haha. Way to go Ben- you'll do well in all your travels. Bartering is a life skill fo sho.
